E-Take-a-Letter™ is the process of recording your voice electronically, saving the file to your PC then, emailing the .wav or .mp3 file to us for that document to be typed by a professional Dicatypist. This service is convenient for those who want their important document typed quickly, accurately and according to their specific requirements and instructions. Any business owner/manager can benefit greatly form the use of this service regardless of company size, industry or profit margin. In addition, e-Take-a-Letter™ is ideal for professionals such as Entrepreneurs, Doctors, Lawyers, C-level executives and those with careers within the Real-estate sector. The regular turn-around time for this service starts at 1 to 2 business days after your Service Request Form (SRF) date (starting after that date). As well, 1 hour, same day and next day services are available at an additional cost (contact us for further details). WHILE RECORDING YOUR VOICE: Introduce yourself at the beginning (your full name, email address and telephone number) - State the name/title of your document/paper (including any pertinent formating such as; all caps, bolding, italic, underline etc...)
- Next, verbally state the format of the body document/paper including margins, subheading formatting etc... (you may leave this part if you've already indicated this on your SRF or if you've previously sent us an email stating this)
- Speak at a reasonable pace
- Speak clearly
- Ensure there is no background noise (T.V., music, other peoples voices, traffic, shuffling of paper etc...)
- Spell any words you feel might be difficult for the Dictatypist
- Send a different file for each document
